Requirements

  • BS or BA degree in Accounting or Business
  •  4-7 years of related accounting experience
  •  3 years of insurance experience
  •  Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Access, GL software, and Database management software.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credentials a plus.

Job Responsibilities
The Senior Accountant position is a full-time, 100% remote position and a key Finance team member. The Senior Accountant maintains financial records and ensures that financial transactions are properly recorded. Ensures the accuracy of entries to ledger accounts and reconciles subsidiary ledger accounts to the general ledger.

  • Prepares complex balance sheets, profit and loss statements and other financial reports.
  • Analyzes current costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses.
  • May guide or review the work of support staff. Requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
